WAIT and reset

Conditions that keep the trader out or require a fresh read.

Return Wait when:

  • the 1-2-3 is unclear
  • price repeatedly crosses the moving averages without forming one coherent base
  • Step 2 is only a run of same-direction candles with no consolidation
  • higher and lower timeframe momentum materially conflict
  • the pullback destroys the active move
  • the candidate candle is unfinished
  • the candidate is an inside bar
  • the prior extreme offers poor room
  • the move is already extended
  • news, open volatility, liquidity, or contract size makes the structural stop unacceptable
  • the trader reached the daily trade or loss limit
  • two consecutive initial PTBs failed inside the active sequence

Reset the read when structure fails or a clearer current structure takes control. Do not use a numerical PTB expiry that the source does not teach.
