Stoic Edge System: Learn the 1-2-3 Trading Framework

Study market context, the 1-2-3 sequence, boundary-break and PTB entries, risk, and management through free guides and the System lesson library.

The Stoic Edge System organizes a trading decision around the chart's structure. Begin with the daily and hourly map, read the moving-average 1-2-3, choose an entry approach, and define risk before the trade activates.

The public guide and reference pages are free. Compass is an optional TradingView indicator; it is not required to read or practice the framework.

Start with the flagship article

The complete 1-2-3 trading guide explains the sequence in plain language with bullish and bearish context, PTB candidate rules, management, and illustrated practice cases.

Educational schematic of the Stoic Edge break, base, and expansion sequence

Invented chart prices illustrate the framework. This is not an actual trade or performance result.

What the numbers describe

Step 1 is the break through the active 10/20 SMA area. Step 2 is a coherent base or retest. Step 3 is expansion from the selected boundary: developing during the intrabar break and confirmed by a meaningful close.

The System's 10, 20, 50, and 200 SMAs supply different context and management references. An average cross alone does not create a complete trade. The moving-average reference explains each role.

Learn the two entry approaches separately

Module 01 permits a discretionary entry during the developing Step 3 boundary break. The entry accepts that expansion is still unconfirmed. Its invalidation and execution rules belong in the plan before activation.

Module 02 focuses on the Pullback Trigger Bar. After a clean sequence, track a completed eligible pullback candidate near the 10/20 area. Ignore inside bars as active candidates. A trade-through of the candidate high for a long or low for a short confirms the PTB, without another candle-close requirement.

Read the PTB reference for replacement, continuation, and same-chart retry rules. Do not combine the two entry types into an explanation that changes after the outcome.

Work through the free learning path

  1. Read the System overview and quickstart.
  2. Study the 1-2-3 sequence and higher-timeframe map.
  3. Define chart roles, the chosen entry approach, and risk and execution.
  4. Practice management at the prior extreme.
  5. Compare continuation, loss, and wait cases, then use the review checklists.

Lessons and community access

Stoic Traders is the private community at $97 per month through Skool. It includes Compass, System lessons and case studies, the War Map outlook, and member discussion. Visit Stoic Traders for the current enrollment page.

Standalone Compass access is $49 per month or $497 per year through the Compass page. It does not include the full community and System lesson bundle. There is no free trial. TradingView access requires a valid username and a manual invitation; allow up to 48 hours after payment and the username are recorded.

What this education does not establish

The examples do not establish a verified win rate, expected return, or suitable account risk amount. Costs, fills, instrument choice, and consistent classification matter. The framework leaves some execution details discretionary, so it should not be described as a fully mechanical strategy or a backtested performance product.

Use replay or simulation before considering live use, and document uncertainty rather than inventing a missing rule. Our editorial standards explain sources, illustrative examples, commercial interests, and corrections.
