Agreement and operator

StoicTA, LLC operates the Stoic Edge publication, newsletter, and member tools. Stoic Edge is the publication name. By accessing or using these services, you agree to these terms and any rules shown with a specific feature. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for protecting any link, session, or account credential that gives access to a private feature.

Education and trading risk

Stoic Edge shares general observations, systems, research, tools, and opinions for education. It does not provide legal, tax, medical, brokerage, fiduciary, or individualized financial advice. Nothing on the site is a direction to buy, sell, or hold an investment.

Trading and investing can result in substantial losses, including the loss of all money committed to a position. Historical, hypothetical, backtested, and simulated results do not predict future results. Verify information independently and make decisions that fit your circumstances and risk tolerance.

Ownership and limited license

StoicTA, LLC and its licensors own the service, branding, original issues, graphics, research, and member material unless a different owner is identified. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the material for your own lawful, non-commercial learning.

You may share links to public issues and make uses permitted by law. You may not reproduce or distribute complete issues or member-only material, sell or sublicense the material, remove attribution, or use the Stoic Edge name or branding to suggest an endorsement without written permission.

Stoic Capital portfolio publication

Stoic Capital publishes information about the operator's personal portfolio on a schedule and after any stated disclosure delay. It is not a fund, brokerage service, trade-execution service, account-management service, or personalized advisory relationship. StoicTA, LLC does not accept member capital or brokerage credentials through Stoic Capital.

Portfolio entries may be recorded manually and may contain delays, omissions, or errors. Corrections may be posted when an error is found. Members are responsible for checking information and for every decision made in their own accounts.

Responsible use

You may not share private access, bypass access controls, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or abusive material, probe the service for unauthorized access, scrape it in a way that burdens the service, or interfere with the service or its users. We may suspend or remove access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, or comply with law.

Newsletter delivery

Newsletter signup uses confirmation and suppression controls recorded by the service. You may unsubscribe at any time. Delivery depends on mailbox providers and is not guaranteed. We may delay, pause, or stop sending to protect readers, honor a request, comply with law, or respond to a delivery problem.

Member tools

Compass and some research views are available only to accounts with active product access. Access may come from a standalone Compass subscription, a Stoic Traders membership, or a documented grandfathered grant. We may suspend or remove access when the underlying record ends, expires, is incorrect, or needs a security review. Newsletter signup does not create paid member access.

Paid products and billing

StoicTA, LLC offers standalone Stoic Edge Compass subscriptions through Stripe and Stoic Traders membership through Skool. Stripe or Skool collects payment details on its hosted checkout. Stoic Edge receives limited customer, subscription, payment-status, and billing-period records needed to manage access.

The checkout for each paid offer shows its price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms before payment. If an offer includes a voluntary refund promise or refund window, it will be stated before payment. Compass does not include a voluntary refund guarantee or refund window. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Offer-specific terms control if they conflict with these general terms. Recurring access renews until canceled. When a cancellation is scheduled for the end of a paid period, product access remains available through that recorded period unless law or the offer terms require a different result.

Stripe's consumer terms and privacy notice apply to Stripe's part of a Compass transaction. Skool's platform terms, transaction terms, and privacy notice also apply to its part of the transaction. Contact stoic@stoicedge.com with a question about a StoicTA, LLC offer or creator refund.

Third-party services

Links, embedded media, mailbox providers, Stripe, Skool, TradingView, YouTube, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for a third party's service, content, availability, or data practices.

Availability and changes

Features may change, pause, or become unavailable during maintenance, a security review, a provider outage, or a delivery incident. We may also change or discontinue a free feature. If a change affects a paid offer, the offer-specific terms and applicable law will govern.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. StoicTA, LLC does not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that using the content will produce a particular financial or trading result. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoicTA, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or trading and investment losses arising from your use of or reliance on the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Governing law and disputes

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Unless mandatory law where you live requires otherwise, these terms are governed by North Carolina law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, or in a court with jurisdiction over a qualifying small claim.

These terms do not remove a consumer right, remedy, protection, or forum that cannot lawfully be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or applicable law changes. The effective date above will change when an update is posted. Continued use after the update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.
