Chart roles

Parent, execution, and management roles without a fixed timeframe matrix.

Chart jobs stay fixed even when the interval changes.

  • Parent timeframe: owns the larger 1-2-3, PTB, or Step 2 breakout condition.
  • Execution timeframe: one chart selected before activation to time the entry.
  • Management plan: names the structure and holding intention that govern the trade after entry.

Teaching default

  • Daily and hourly: build intraday context.
  • 5-minute: own the primary intraday 1-2-3, PTB entry, and initial management.

Parent-led use

A daily, weekly, hourly, or 15-minute chart may own the larger setup. The 5-minute chart is the recommended execution chart. A 15-minute or hourly execution chart may be used for a larger trade only when it is selected before activation.

Use one parent chart and one execution chart. Do not change them because an entry was missed, a trade lost, or another chart looks cleaner afterward. No clean PTB on the selected execution chart means Wait.

The earlier fixed four-row timeframe matrix is retired. Use these source-backed jobs without inventing a rigid combination Stoic Trader did not teach in the live session.

Use these docs for education, chart study, replay, and process review. Every setup can fail. You remain responsible for risk, size, orders, execution, and the decision to trade.
