Pullback Trigger Bar

After a clear 1-2-3, wait for price to pull back toward the 10/20 moving-average area. PTB is the focused pullback-entry setup taught in Module 02. It does not invalidate Module 01's discretionary Step-3 boundary-break entry.

PTB rules

• Use a completed candidate on the chart that owns the setup. The 5-minute chart is the primary intraday and execution default.
• Ignore an inside bar as the active candidate.
• Keep the earlier eligible candidate active until a newer eligible non-inside candle completes before entry.
• Price trading through the candidate high confirms the bullish PTB and may trigger the long.
• Price trading through the candidate low confirms the bearish PTB and may trigger the short.
• Use the other side of the PTB as the usual stop reference.
• Give extra structural room only when the moving averages or sweep structure shown in the case require it.
• Require useful room to the prior high for a long or prior low for a short.

There is no three-candle limit or fourth-candle expiry in the controlling source.

Clean-example definitions

For the first same-chart lesson, an eligible candidate:

• forms during a clean pullback toward the 10/20 area
• completes on the 5-minute chart
• is not an inside bar
• leaves the active 1-2-3 direction intact

If one of those conditions is unclear, return Wait rather than expanding the definition.

Trade through means that price prints beyond the active candidate high or low. It does not require another candle close. That event confirms the final candidate as the PTB. This defines the chart event only; order type, entry buffer, fills, and slippage remain open execution rules.

For clean teaching examples, the prior extreme is the visible swing high or low formed by the active move before the pullback. When several swings compete, treat the case as advanced until a selection rule is approved.

Parent-led PTB

After a parent-chart 1-2-3 confirms, a completed eligible parent candidate can own the larger setup. Mark its high for a long or low for a short as the parent activation level. Trading through that level confirms the candidate as the parent PTB.

As that level activates, one preselected execution chart may refine the entry with another completed eligible candidate and directional trade-through. The 5-minute chart is recommended. The lower-chart PTB does not create a second strategy, and the parent setup does not qualify an invalid lower-chart candle.

The exact parent-trigger and execution-trigger sequence remains open. Do not invent a timing window, expiry, retry count, or gap rule.

Later clean PTBs may be used while the active 10/20 move holds. They do not require a mandatory fresh full 1-2-3 each time.

Do not chase an extended move. Wait for another clean pullback.

Same-chart retry

One failed initial PTB may be followed by one later clean candidate while the same five-minute 10/20 direction remains valid. Two consecutive failed initial PTBs invalidate the sequence. Return to Wait for a new 1-2-3 instead of taking a third attempt.
